Free medical camps
Since 2016 our health work has focused on children and on women of reproductive age.
RBF has its own network of volunteers in slum areas of Karachi. With them we organise free medical camps that bring doctors, tests and medicines to residents who cannot afford a clinic visit.
Patients who need surgery are registered at the camp, and we look for donors to fund their operations. Um-e-Salma’s glaucoma surgery and Marvi’s eye operation both started this way.
